Robert Turner

Robert founded Active Body Therapies in 2007. He is a former member of the Runaway Bay Sports Super Centre Sports Medicine team and was a member of the Brisbane Lions Massage team for two season (2007-2008) and the Gold Coast United Soccer Massage team (2009-2010).

Robert’s clients range from: amateur, professional and elite athletes in a variety of sports such as: football, golf, athletics, swimming, cycling, running, surf life saving, basketball, triathlon, rowing, dancing and martial arts. Robert also treats clients from a non-sporting background including: tradespeople, office professionals, retirees and anyone seeking relief from stress-related muscle soreness and body aches, as well as injuries and ailments such as lower back pain, shoulder and neck pain, frozen shoulder, headaches and sciatica.

In his spare time, Robert enjoys mountain biking, spending time with his family and going to the beach.



Anthony Evans

Anthony is from Wales originally however has lived in Australia since 2010.

He has an extensive sporting background having studied (BSc Hons Sport Science) and played Semi Professional sports in numerous countries.  He has competed in sports including Rugby Union, tennis and soccer and has previously competed and worked as a ski and Snowboard Professional in Canada.

Anthony leads a healthy balanced lifestyle and feels this is important.  Due to his extensive and varied sporting background and knowledge, he is able to draw on his experiences and incorporate specific treatment methods not only to help with injury prevention, recovery, and rehabilitation but also to increase specific sports performance.

He has a unique insight into injury rehabilitation having been involved in a life changing accident in 2015.  He is committed daily to his ongoing recovery and as such, understands the importance of the correct type of rehabilitation and the support needed to succeed.  He is dedicated to helping and assisting people with their needs and goals regardless of how small or large they may be.

Anthony currently works as a Senior Advanced Soft Tissue Therapist with Elite / Olympic level athletes, AIS, Sports Teams, amateur Sports Men and Woman.  He works with Canoe Australia, Triathlon Australia, Sailing Australia and has most recently become an Official Soft Tissue Therapist for Team England for the Commonwealth Games.
